Memorials: Collier Hospice at Lutheran Center (ELH at CHC) 3210 Lutheran Parkway, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Ethel was born to Hugh Thomas and Eva Ochs at home in Iowa County on July 11, 1933. She attended Victor High School in Iowa County and went on to work as a key punch operator for the next 10 years. In 1960, she moved to Colorado and worked as a reservations clerk for United Airlines for 27 years until she retired. She loved to travel and was thankful for the opportunities the airline company provided her. She was able to take many great trips, sometimes with friends, to see family and explore what the world had to offer her. She is survived by her husband, Russell John Wiebold, whom she married on December 30, 1994 at the Arvada United Methodist Church. She is also survived by her step children, Ross William and Dr. Laurie Starr. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and several dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers and four sisters.
