Tucker Beck, age 6, of Grinnell, died on Saturday, April 8, 2023, near Brooklyn, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Grinnell Christian Church with Rev. Kari Lee, pastor of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church near Sully, officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Grinnell.

Tucker's family will receive friends for the visitation held from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.

Jacob Daryl Beck and Kristina Lucia (Bauman) Beck were blessed with the birth of their first child and son, Tucker Kenneth Beck on April 3, 2017, in Grinnell, Iowa. From day one, he warmed the hearts of others with his comforting smile and his kind, loving personality. His energy had no limits; he was on the go from the moment his feet hit the floor when he woke up to the moment his head hit the pillow at night. His favorite things to do were watching Iowa Hawkeyes football, playing soccer, being outside, watching the movie "Monster House", going to Menards, eating at Jimmy John's and "Old" McDonald's, solving puzzles, playing with Legos, and enjoying the companionship of his two dogs, Zeus and Sasha.

Tucker is survived by his parents, Jake and Kristina Beck of Grinnell; his younger sister, Cadence; his brother, Bowen, who is due in July; his paternal grandparents, Daryl and Kelly Beck of Newton, IA; his maternal grandparents, Tim and Susan Bauman of Brooklyn; his maternal great grandmother, Vicki Smith of Grinnell; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
