Shirley is survived by her children Duane (Pam) Blagden of Grinnell, David Blagden of Springfield, Ohio, and Patricia Haines of Grinnell; her step-daughter Sandra Rupe of Marshalltown, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Irma Smool of Hamilton, Iowa, Richard Clark of Newton, Beulah Morgan of Newton, Eugene Clark of Hamilton, Norma Modlin of Newton, and Wendall Clark of Bussey, Iowa. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents George and Doris Lee Clark; her husband Roy in 1995; her brothers, George Clark, Robert Clark, and Larry Clark, who died in infancy; and her sister Edith Eberhart.
