Sharon Mastin, 83, of Grinnell, formerly of Marshall, Missouri, died on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.

A family committal service will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Sharon Kaye Ward was born the daughter of Marty and Ferne (Mack) Ward on June 14, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Des Moines.

Sharon was united in marriage to Tommy Mastin on May 15, 1959 in Des Moines. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Ronda. The couple lived in Des Moines. Tommy died tragically in 1961. Sharon continued to live in Des Moines before moving to Grinnell and later to Marshall, Missouri. She was a homemaker most of her life and her enjoyments were solving puzzles, playing bingo, and making crafts.

Sharon is survived by two siblings, Linda Dragotto of Jacksonville, Florida, and Dennis Ward of Ames, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Mastin; her daughter, Ronda Mastin; and her sisters, Elaine Dooley and Bonnie (Richard) Bortell.
