Richard Lowry, age 90 of Grinnell and formerly of Montezuma, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell. A private family graveside will be held at West Liberty Cemetery near Montezuma. A public celebration of his life will be held at a later date. A memorial fund will be established. Richard is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris Lowry of Grinnell; his sons, Ronald (Becky Hauser) Lowry of Grinnell and Dennis (Barbie) Lowry of Montezuma; his daughter, Debbie (Kirk) Halstead of Grinnell; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Lowry; grandson; Richard James Lowry; and brother, Loring Lowry.
