Patti Milner, age 77 of Grinnell and formerly of Brooklyn, received her angel wings on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home and under the care of UnityPoint Grinnell Regional Hospice.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery.

Patti Fowler was born on January 27, 1944 in South Sioux City, NE to Merle and Letha (Owens) Fowler. She was raised and educated in South Sioux City, NE.
Patti was united in marriage to Fritz Milner on August 19, 1961 in South Sioux City, NE. Their marriage was blessed four children: Mike, Michelle, Susie, and Jeff. They resided in South Sioux City, Nebraska and moved to Brooklyn, Iowa in 1979, where they owned and operated the Star Inn Truck Plaza for several years before retiring.
Patti's greatest blessing was her family and extended family as "blood" had no boundaries to her love and care for others. She adored ALL her grandchildren. She was the co-owner of Star Inn, and loved to bake. Patti was famous for her pumpkin bread & ever famous fruit salad, that was made each holiday for each of the "kids" and "grandkids".
Her enjoyments were watching Days of our Lives, gardening, fishing, boating, camping, eating ice cream, listening to Elvis Presley, Fleetwood MAC, Kenny Rogers, and Dolly Parton music, Playing ALL NIGHT Yahtzee parties with grandkids, annual pool parties, celebrating the holidays, going to the casinos, shenanigans with Fritz, Paula & Larry, and watching Nebraska Cornhusker football.
Patti is survived by her three children, Mike (Diana) Milner of Brooklyn, Michelle Milner of Grinnell, and Jeff (Cammie) Milner of Grinnell, Iowa; and many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susie Milner-Williams; granddaughters, T.J. Milner and Stephanie Milner; grandson, Nicolas Milner; and brothers, Virgil, Mike, Merle and Jerry Fowler, and sister-in-law Joyce Fowler.
