On August 26, 1944, she was united in marriage to Jack F. Chedester, in Kellogg. A union of 76 years. She loved sharing her time with her family and adventuring in her timber area admiring the abundant nature. She was very creative and very passionate about arts and crafts, including crocheting and making rugs. She contributed some of her crochet work to artist, P. Buckley Moss and enjoyed interior designing for doll houses. Attending rummage sales and craft shows, with her own show booth, was a real joy for her. To keep her mind busy, she would do cross-word puzzles and word puzzles and was an avid reader.
