Patricia Jo Collins, 59, of Grinnell, died at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home-Grinnell. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Grinnell Fire Department and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.

Patti was born April 24, 1963 in Grinnell, IA, the daughter of Charles and Katherine Watson Arment. She was raised in Grinnell and graduated from Grinnell High School in 1981.

She worked for Delong's, in shipping, for 19 years then Grinnell Mutual for 11 years, she was a dedicated employee. She enjoyed spending time with her cat's, reading, and watching television. She also enjoyed traveling to Spain, Bahamas, California, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, and Hawaii was her favorite destination.

Patti was a caring and giving person with one of the biggest hearts. She loved her family and friends, especially her two nieces, Nicole and Natalie.

Patti is survived by her brother Steven Arment of Searsboro and his children Nicole and Natalie Arment of Ankeny, and one great-nephew Grayson Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents.
