Nathan Lee Bagur, 40, of Grinnell, IA, passed away January 9, 2023 surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2022 at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.

Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville, IA immediately following the service.

Memorials may be designated to the Nathan Bagur Memorial Fund in c/o Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.

Nathan was born on May 9, 1982 to Thomas Joseph and Miriam Annette (Reiser) Bagur in Mason City, IA. Nathan graduated from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, IA with the class of 2000. After high school, Nathan attended Kirkwood Community College.

Nathan worked for Kum & Go as a shift manager in Grinnell. Spending time with family was very important to Nathan. He enjoyed watching football, especially his Dallas Cowboys, playing video games, and building computers.

He is survived by his mother, Miriam Williams; his children, Katie Kraus and Bryce Bagur; his siblings, Thomas Bagur, Shireen (Matthew) Baedke, and Lareen (Jospeh) Baedke; and his stepfamily Scott Williams, Sean Williams, Steven Williams, and Sherri Williams.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Thomas Bagur; stepfather, Ward Williams; and stepbrother, Stacy Williams.
