Natalie Kay (Radke) Dunn went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2025. Natalie was at her home in Grinnell surrounded by family, under the care of UnityPoint Hospice. The family is grateful for the care they provided.

Born in Rochester, Minnesota, Natalie was the youngest of three daughters of William (Bill) and Natalie (Tally) Radke. After graduating from John Marshall High School, she completed courses at Rochester Community College and worked at the Mayo Clinic. While attending John Marshall High School, Natalie and Jim began dating. They married on August 25, 1962, in Rochester. Following the birth of their three children, Natalie devoted her days to being a loving, ever-present mother and wife, and was also known to be an incredible friend and neighbor.

Once her children began school, Natalie worked as an administrative assistant at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Upon moving to Waukesha, Wisconsin, she worked at the Women's Development Center at Waukesha Community Technical College. While living in Grinnell, Natalie enjoyed working for St. John's Lutheran Church and Beckman Gallery, volunteering at Grinnell Regional Hospital's Glass Gift Box, and providing a home away from home for two international students attending Grinnell College.

Natalie's love and unwavering devotion to her family was evident. Natalie was a role model for her family and friends through her confidence, humor, and kindness. Her spunk was unmatched, and her cheer and honesty appreciated. Natalie was exceptionally supportive of her grandchildren and often traveled between states for sporting events, graduations, birthdays, and plain-and-simple family time. Natalie remained sharp-witted, active, and fearless throughout her life. She rode roller-coasters and slid down waterslides with her grandchildren, took long bike rides and traveled internationally with family and friends, and played on the floor with her great-grandbabies. Natalie stayed genuine and true to herself, while putting others' needs ahead of her own. Natalie was steadfast in her Christian faith and trusted the Lord with her life. Natalie will be remembered by her warm and welcoming hugs, her contagious laugh, her playful smile and comments, and her ability to play the right card at the right time in Bridge or 500.

Natalie is survived by husband James Dunn, son Andrew (Roxanne) Dunn, daughter Kristene (John) Mosinski, and daughter Stephanie (John) DenHartog; five grandchildren and their spouses, and four great grandchildren; her sister Susan (Donald) Kundo, and many nieces and nephews. Natalie is preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Natalie (Tally) Radke, sister Audrey (Tom) Wilson. Each of these individuals Natalie cherished in her heart.

Per Natalie's instructions ("no winter funeral"), a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grinnell, followed by a luncheon reception. Natalie's wish was to be cremated, with her remains scattered in places dear to her heart.
