Nancy A. Wilcox, 68, of Victor, IA passed away April 7, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

A funeral service will be held at 4:30 pm, Friday April 12, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home in Victor. Funeral reception following the service at the KC Hall in Victor.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday April 11, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home in Victor.

Nancy was born on August 30, 1955 in Grinnell, IA to Raymond and Elda (Wardenburg) Shine. Nancy grew up in the Victor area and graduated with the class of 1974.

Nancy worked for the local paper in Iowa county before becoming a homemaker raising her two sons, Joseph and Joshua.

Nancy will be remembered for her artistic abilities and her penmanship. Utilizing her art degree, she loved to draw, make arts and crafts, knit, work with plastic canvas, make homemade holiday cards, and write in calligraphy. She liked to bake pies and sell them at farmers markets, gardening and growing tomatoes and peppers.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Joseph and Joshua Wilcox, her siblings, Diane (Jeff) Trasak, and Judy Behounek, and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Terry, and her parents, Raymond and Elda Shine.
