Marjorie was born on July 1, 1922, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Leroy and Marguerite Condon Goodrich. She was raised Iowa and graduated from Manchester High School with the class of 1941. On January 17, 1954, she was married to Harland Bushnell in Cedar Rapids. The couple lived in Cedar Rapids and Dubuque and she was a homemaker. Following the death of her husband in 1969, she moved to Cedar Rapids. She worked in various retail stores in Cedar Rapids. In the late 1990s, she moved to the Mayflower Home in Grinnell. She was a member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational in Grinnell. She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Marguerite 'Meg' and Robert Jeffrey of Grinnell and Mary and Todd Zeller of Papillion, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Adam and Benjamin Jeffrey and McKenna Zeller; three step grandchildren, Christopher, Karley and Luke Zeller; and one sister, Maxine Holbert of Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial fund in her name will be established.
