Madge is survived by her sons Michael (Joan) Brooks of Newton and Patrick (Mary) Brooks of Marshalltown, Iowa; her four grandchildren, Jay, Jennifer, Mark, and Carolyn Brooks; her four great grandchildren Russell, Elizabeth, Margaret, and Marshall Jennett; her brother M.J. Walker of Sacramento, California; and her sister Marjory Ann Braley of Newton. Madge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Mark Brooks in 1963; her husband Earl Gilbreaith in 2001; her brother Max Walker; and her sisters Harriet Cupples and Betty Wallace, who died in infancy.
