Linda J. Robinson, 65, of Rock Creek Lake, near Kellogg and formerly of Cambridge, died October 7, 2014, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. No services are planned per her wishes. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Linda J. Robinson Memorial Fund. Linda was born September 29, 1949, in Des Moines, the daughter of Kenneth and Lenore Zita Ritter Greenwood. She was raised in Des Moines and was a 1967 graduate of Des Moines East High School. In 1992, she was united in marriage with Lowell Robinson in Davenport. Linda was employed with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in the claims department for many years. Linda enjoyed her independence and was considered strong-willed. She knew the value of hard work and raising her family was very important to her. She loved traveling, spur of the moment adventures car rides, the outdoors and ATV four-wheeling. She loved her dog, Sugar, too! She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and other toys. Survivors include two children, Mike Stowe of Kellogg and Michelle Stowe of Cambridge; her father, Kenneth of Des Moines; one brother, Raymond Kenneth Greenwood of Boone; and one sister, Lynn Hood of Newton. She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband.
