Linda Sue Holmes, 68, of Grinnell, died on Friday, October 4, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown Hospital.

Linda was born on December 5, 1955, in Wisconsin. She was raised in Muscatine, IA and attended Muscatine Highschool. She enjoyed crocheting and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Station Clubhouse in Grinnell.

Linda is survived by her children; Collette Benson of Marion, IA, and Matthew Hirt of Waterloo, IA, grandchildren; Elijah, MaryAnn, and Ethan John Weis and McGwire and Gabriella Hirt. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and grandson, Calvin Andrew Weis.

Smith Funeral Home is assisting with cremation.
