Services and burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent in care of Grinnell Regional Hospice. She was born on August 30, 1947, in Boone, Iowa to Bruce and Vivian Anderson Williams. She graduated from Patton-Churdan High School and received an AA degree in nursing from Marshalltown Community College. She also received a BS degree with honors in nursing from Grandview College in Des Moines. On April 4, 1970, she was married to Larry Hermanstorfer in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple lived in Brooklyn, Grinnell and later moved to Gilman. She worked for Poweshiek County Home Health Service, Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, DeLong's Sportswear in Gilman and as a nurse at various nursing homes and hospitals in Grinnell, Des Moines and Newton. Following her husband's death in 2000, she moved to Grinnell. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jeff and Sheryl Hermanstorfer of Montour, Chris and Cheryl Hermanstorfer of Owatona, MN and Kimberly and Rick Bub of Alton, Ontario, Canada; seven grandchildren, Maria, Emily and Jacob Hermanstorfer, all of Montour and Cory, Dylan, Ryan and Kaetan Hermanstorfer, all of Owatona; and her brother, Bruce Williams Jr. of Owatona. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Eric; and her sister, Lonna Lane.
