Kris Patrick Bricker was born the son of Dean and Verabeth Eckert Bricker on March 5, 1960, in Marengo, Iowa. He was raised on the family farm near Victor and was educated at the Conroy Developmental Center in Conroy, Iowa. Kris was a member of the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Victor. He had a wonderful sense of humor and had keen powers of observation. Kris was the central command of the Bricker household, who assisted those in need of finding what they were looking for. He enjoyed waiting for the morning mail to arrive, taking walks to see the changing seasons in the wetlands and forest on the Bricker farm. He cherished taking care of the RoadTrek van and his dog, Cody, who he called his son. Kris will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched. Kris is survived by his mother, Verabeth Bricker of Victor; his brothers, Terry (Sandy) Bricker of Grand Island, Nebraska, Larry (Toni) Bricker of Marion, Iowa, David Bricker of Victor, Kurt (Deb) Bricker of Ladora, Iowa; his sister, Denise Bricker of Victor; and his special caregivers, Anna Upah and Beth Henning. Kris was preceded in death by his father, Dean Bricker on October 4, 2002; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his aunts, Darlene Sayers and Betty Woodrum. Memorials may be designated to the Kris P. Bricker Memorial Fund.
