A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Kenny is survived by his wife, Virginia Lohrey of Grinnell; 3 children, Lydia Lohrey of Hamilton, New Jersey, Dr. Charlotte Lohrey of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kenneth Lohrey, Jr. of Costa Rica; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his mother, Lena Estridge of Milford, Ohio; and his siblings, Angela Erskine of Goshen, Ohio and Bobby Lohrey of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest L. Lohrey; and his brother, Eddie Lohrey.
