Joyce was born on January 12, 1952, in Marshalltown, Iowa to Donald and Meredith Potter Mull. She was raised in Toledo, Iowa and graduated from South Tama High School. On September 11, 1971, she was married to Dennis Davis in Malcom. The couple lived most of the married life in Malcom. She was a homemaker and worked briefly for DeLong's Sportswear Company in Grinnell. She enjoyed enjoyed fishing in local farm ponds, reading and she cherished her grandchildren and pets. She is survived by her husband, Denny Davis of Malcom; two sons, Steve (Katrina) Davis of Newton and Paul (Kerri) Davis of Searsboro; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Don Mull of Cedar Rapids, Mike Mull of Iowa, Laverne Mull of Colorado and Rick Mull of Tama; and one sister, Linda Putz of Lacona, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Judy Neitzel. Memorials may be directed to the Malcom United Methodsit Church and sent in care of Denny Davis, PO Box 104, Malcom, Iowa.
