Joshua James Fiscus was born on October 21, 1974, in Davenport, Iowa to Robert Meade Fiscus and Mary Ellen White. He was raised and attended school in Grinnell. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and later fishing and spending time with JJ. He liked to write poetry and spending time with friends and listening to music. Josh is survived by his son, Joshua James Fiscus, Jr. of Grinnell and his mother, Mary Ellen White of Grinnell, his sister, Christina Fiscus of Iowa City, three brothers, Richard (Mona) Fiscus of Des Moines, Timothy Fiscus of Grinnell and Noah (Melanie) Fiscus of Wilsonville, Oregon, and his nieces and nephews, Rowan Fiscus-McKee, Emily, Catarina, Robert and Cassandra Fiscus and Erin Parker and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Joshua died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his home. He was 37 years old and was preceded in death by his father in 1987 and his grandparents, Roy and Hilda Fiscus and Raymond and Antonia White.
