Jennifer Michelle Hicks Myers, 37, of Grinnell died on November 12, 2018, at her home of a sudden heart attack. A gathering with the family present will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Jennifer M. Myers Memorial Fund. Jennifer was born on July 12, 1981, in Grinnell, the daughter of James Ross and Stephanie Anne Fletcher Hicks. She was raised in Grinnell and Sanger, Texas prior to returning to Grinnell with her family in 2006. She received her education in the Grinnell School District. Jennifer was a stay at home mom and kept busy raising her two sons, whom she loved very much. God was in her heart throughout her life and she held a love for Jesus Christ. She enjoyed attending church. She liked to do crafts and coloring projects with her boys. She loved music, singing and dancing. Jennifer is survived by her two sons, Robert Bailey Delph and James Ross Hicks, both of Grinnell; her mother, Stephanie (Larry Bryan) Johnson of Grinnell; and two brothers, Robert (Stephanie) Hicks of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania and Brandon Hicks of Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hicks.
