She was born on February 8, 1906 near Sully, Iowa to Ira and Sarah Lautenbach Brand. She received her education in a rural school near Sully. On January 14, 1926, she was married to Ernest A. Graham at her parent's home near Sully. The couple farmed in the Oak Grove community, south of Grinnell, until 1943 when they moved to a farm west of Lynnville. In 1986, they retired from farming and moved to Grinnell. She was a member of the Lynnville Friends Church and the Lynnville Garden Club. Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn, K. Meredith of Grinnell; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and two brothers, Raymond Brand of Pella and Carroll Brand of Cameron, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Norman Graham; and her sister, Vera Voss. Memorials may be directed to the Lynnville Friends Church.
