Obituary

Jeannie Lillian Lee, 64, of North English passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at

English Valley Care Center in North English, Iowa.

The family will receive family & friends during a visitation held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM,

Friday, May 17, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home in Victor, Iowa. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be directed to Jerimiah, Elizabeth &

Elesha Eggert and mailed in care of Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 485, Victor, IA

52347.

Jeannie Lillian Lee was born January 26, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of

Milford and Ledores (Anderson) Lee. She graduated from Armstrong High school in

1978 and later received her CNA certification from Kirkwood Community College.

Jeannie was really passionate about caring & helping others.

Jeannie was united in marriage to Danny Eugene Eggert, on August 21, 1975 in Sioux

Falls, S.D. They were blessed with 3 children, Jeremiah, Elizabeth & Elesha.

Jeannie attended Fundamental Gospel Church & Victor Baptist Church throughout her

life. Jeannie enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom while her children were young. She

also enjoyed making & decorating cakes, sewing, cooking, spending time with her

children & grandchildren. Jeannie will be remembered for her big heart, the love she

has for her children & grandchildren and treating her grandkids with lots of crunch bars

& bomb pops!

Jeannie is survived by her children, Jerimiah Eggert of Brooklyn, IA, Elizabeth Eggert of

Guernsey, IA, and Elesha Eggert of Belle Plaine, IA; and her grandchildren, Taylor

Callahan, Sawyer Callahan, Finn Callahan, Presley Mullen, Penn Mullen, Lane (Eggert)

Schultz, and Ellison Eggert. She is preceded in death by her parents Milford & Ledores

Lee and brothers, Gerald Lee, and Bruce Lee.
