Henry Mark Reimers, 46, of Grinnell, IA passed away October 17, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Malcom, IA. Burial will immediately follow the service at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am, two hours prior to the memorial service at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be designated to the Henry Reimers Memorial Fund, mailed in c/o of Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.

Henry was born May 4, 1976, in Grinnell to John and Arlene (Hautekeete) Reimers. He was raised in the Malcom area, and then graduated from BGM with the class of 1994. After high school Henry enlisted in the Navy, serving from June of 1994 to December of 1995.

Henry worked at K &M Tire for the last few years as a Route Driver.

Henry's hobbies include fishing, bowling, hunting pheasants, spending time with his sons, and his family. He was known among his family and friends as the jokester.

He is survived by his parents of Malcom; his three sons, Brock, Bryson, and Braxton of Grinnell; his siblings, Mary (Tom) Pokorny of Edwardsville, IL, Eric Reimers of Storm Lake, IA, Bryan (Christina) Reimers of Des Moines, IA and Judith (Gene) Kephart of Grinnell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
