Glen Darrell Foerster, 71, of Searsboro, IA passed away surrounded by family on September 8, 2023.

Glen was born on May 13, 1952 to Marshall and Janet (Elhorn) Foerster in Jamestown, North Dakota. He graduated high school in 1970, and worked as an EMT. He later worked for an Armored Truck company and security for William Homesteads.

Glen enjoyed fishing, painting, gardening, collecting coins, cleaning and cooking. He was known in his family for being a good cook, especially his stuffed bell peppers.

Glen is survived by his son, David Foerster of Searsboro; his grandchildren, Darrell Foerster of Minnesota, David Foerster Jr. of Searsboro, Christina Foerster of Searsboro and Elijah Foerster of Searsboro; and his cousins Jerome Miller of Gilman, IA and Willis Miller of Beaman, IA.

He is predeceased by his parents, Marshall and Janet; and his brothers Terry and Gary Foerster.
