Obituary

Eric Scott Seaton, 57, of Victor, died on December 19, 2021, at his home of natural causes. Visitation with the Seaton family present will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23rd at the Smith Funeral Home in Victor. Eric was born on June 6, 1964, in Marengo, the son of Charlie and Rosellen (Matson) Seaton. He was raised on his family farm near Deep River and was a 1983 graduate of Tri-County High School. On August 13, 1988, he was united in marriage to Barbara Wedgewood, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua and to this union they had three children, Jessica, Shania, and Dalton. The couple lived in Deep River and later moved to Victor. Eric farmed and was the owner of E & B Tiling Company, an agricultural tiling business, in Victor since 1997. Eric held a love for his friends and family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing locally and on Lake Michigan, hunting, and "blowing things up." He also enjoyed dropping in and talking people's ears off, snowmobiling, and lending a hand to whomever needed it. He was aways pulling pranks and being mischievous. He is survived by his wife, Barb of Victor; three children, Jessica (Brock) Little of Hartwick, Shania (Matthew) Risdon of Victor and Dalton Seaton of Victor; four grandchildren, Audrina, Bailey and Dean of the Little's and Gabriel of the Risdon's; and three brothers, Mark (Sherri) Seaton of Deep River, Pat (Becky) Thornburg, and Chris (Amber) Seaton of Marengo. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Mike and Rod Seaton.
