Earl Laverne Carmer, 64, of Marshalltown, died on Monday, September 23, 2024 at UnityPoint - Allen Hospital, Waterloo, IA.

Earl Laverne Carmer was born on December 3, 1959, in Newton, IA to Earl Warren and Dorothy Jean Carmer. Earl was raised in Marshalltown and graduated from Marshalltown High School. He worked paper delivery for various newspaper companies.

Earl loved his family, he never forgot a birthday and always remembered to celebrate every family member's special day. Earl enjoyed listening to music, building bird houses, playing bingo, and riding his bicycle.

Earl is survived by his father, Earl Warren Carmer; siblings, Bonnie Bunting, Sheri Kibbee, and Rick Carmer; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Carmer; and siblings, Brenda Carmer, Mary Kibbee, Jack Carmer, Nancy Carmer, and Warren Carmer.
