Dorothy L. Davis, 73, of rural Williamsburg, died at her home October 12, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Sunday, October 16, at the Smith Funeral Home in Victor with Rev. Ken Lake of New Sharon, officiating. Organist will be Marilyn Kriegel. Pallbearers are Jeff Clark, Kirk Heineman, Kurt, Kyle and Loring Heitmann, Ernie Meyer and Gerald Slaymaker. Burial will be in the Ohio Cemetery, rural Ladora.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born December 21, 1937, on the family farm near Williamsburg, the daughter of Menzo and Agnes Pawlak Davis. She was raised on the farm and attended country school near her home. She later attended school in Ladora for several years.
Dorothy lived on the family farm her entire life helping with farm chores and caring for her parents. She enjoyed cooking, everyday farm activities, and raising all her cats. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her sister, Irene (John) Slaymaker of Guernsey and several other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents.
