Dorothy Mae Chase, age 81, of Mt. Vernon, Texas and formerly of Grinnell, died on Thursday, April 8th at East Texas Medical Center in Mt. Vernon, Texas. A graveside service for Dorothy Chase will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13th at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. Visitation hours will be held from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service time at the Smith Funeral Home. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be directed to the Dorothy Chase Memorial Fund.
