Donna J. Reagen, 86, of the Mayflower Community in Grinnell, died on Friday, November 22, 2014, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grinnell with Rev. Ron Hodges, pastor of the church, officiating. Music will be provided by Marilyn Kriegel, organist and St. Mary's Choir. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. The Smith Funeral Home of Grinnell is handling arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Donna was born on December 15, 1927, in Maquoketa, Iowa to Ross and Golda Hardin Adair. She was raised in Maquoketa and graduated from Maquoketa High School. She moved to Grinnell, Iowa in 1959 and worked for the Iowa Conference of Congregational Christian Churches.
On November 15, 1962, she was married to James K. Reagen at Grinnell, Iowa. The couple made their home in Grinnell and she was employed as a secretary at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company for 27 years.
Donna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grinnell and enjoyed serving her church in many capacities. She enjoyed calligraphy, art and playing the keyboard.
She is survived by one nephew, Michael (Carol) Pearson of Lakewood, Colorado and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
