Dianne Lynn (Stickler) Cady, 75, of Clarksville, Iowa and formerly of Grinnell, died on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Dianne was born Dianne Lynn Young on May 12, 1946 to Evelee and Jack Young in Des Moines, Iowa. After her father's death, Evelee remarried Stanley Stickler who adopted Dianne and her brothers. She had two brothers, Jerry (Young) Stickler and Alan Duvall, and a sister, Wendy Stickler.
She was a lover of nature and of animals. She was known for her green thumb and enjoyed gardening and feeding various wild animals peanut butter sandwiches, including stray cats, squirrels, and wild turkeys. Dianne loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She had three daughters, Kelly (Kline) Castro of Puerto Rico, Cristina (Jason) Uhlenhopp of Allison, Iowa, Carol Perdomo of Allison, Iowa, and Jenny (Jason) Shirk of Montezuma, Iowa and one son, Kary Kline of Osceola, Iowa. She had 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Dianne resided in Allison, Iowa and died March 19, 2022 at the age of 75, in Hospice at the Clarksville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center In Clarksville, Iowa. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Jack Young and Evelee and Stanley Stickler, her brother, Jerry Stickler, her son, Kary Kline, and her daughter Kelly Castro.
A private memorial service will be held for the family in honor of Dianne May 7, 2022.
