LaVerne is preceded in death by his wife Frances Geraldine "Jeri" Dickey and his grandson Jonathan Francis Lacina.He is survived by his daughters Francene Coons and Alesia Lacina and their husbands Dave Coons and Tom Lacina, grandson Joseph Tuggle-Lacina his wife Laurel Tuggle-Lacina and great grandson Jamie Tuggle-Lacina.
