Obituary

Dale Roy Seubert, 95, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025.

A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Searsboro Cemetery in Searsboro, Iowa.

He was born on Sept 7, 1930, in Dubuque, IA to Irvin and Luzetta Seubert. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Agnes, sister Shirley (Ray) Rafoth, wives Martha, Joyce and Nancy, son Gregory and son-in-law James Hogan. Survived by daughters Nancy Hogan, Debra Ferkingstad, Victoria (Paul) DeLuca and daughter-in-law Lori Seubert; along with 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Dale served in the US Navy (1951-1955) on the USS Agawam AOG-6. He attained the rank of Commissary man first class and oversaw the galley during his last year on board.

He graduated from Dubuque High School in 1948, University of Iowa in 1956 (BSC) and University of Michigan in 1961 (Masters). During his career he worked at Ford Motor, MaCarTa, Barker Poultry Company and Professional Management Midwest (1965-2005) where he was a financial consultant and made partner his final 10 years.

Memberships include Lake Harriett Lodge (received Lifetime Achievement Award), Scottish Rite (received Lifetime Achievement Award), Lake Harriett OES, Zion Commandery, Zuhrah Shrine. In 1994-1995 he served as Worthy Grand Patron OES with Rita Glazebrook; they along with the other 9 appointed officers became a family. Dale served on the Board of Directors for MN Masonic Charities for 9 years, Finance Chair for Grand Chapter OES Triennial in 2006.He was a member of Edina Morningside Church from 1968 until his death, serving as moderator and treasurer for 5 years in each role; in addition was a member of Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel.
