Dale Davis, age 68 of Marshalltown, died on July 29, 2019 at Marshalltown Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Malcom. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Dale Davis Memorial Fund, mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, Iowa 50112. Dale Leroy Davis was born on November 12, 1950 in Grinnell, Iowa to Charlie Lloyd Davis, Sr. and Doris Louise (Wolfe) Davis. He was raised in Malcom, Iowa and received his education from Malcom and Brooklyn schools. Dale was employed at Miracle Recreation in Grinnell, Amana Refrigeration, and most recently, North Star Community Services in Marshalltown. His enjoyments were hunting, fishing, lending a hand to those in need of help, and being with friends and family. Dale is survived by his siblings, Peggy (Harold) Kent of Brooklyn, Dennis (Cindy) Davis of Malcom, Kim Davis of Des Moines, Eric Davis of Minburn, Iowa, Terry Davis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kevin (Rochelle) Davis of Des Moines, and Anthony (Kristi) Davis of New Sharon, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Judy Baker, Charles Davis, Jr., and Brad Davis.
