Connie A. Morrison, 68, of Malcom, IA passed away on April 15, 2024 at the Mayflower Health Center in Grinnell, IA.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Grinnell Friends Church. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. A private family burial will follow the luncheon.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Wings of Refuge, mailed in c/o Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.

Constance "Connie" Ann Morrison was born on September 10, 1955 in Delta, CO to Thomas E. and Lois I. (Harvey) Selle. Connie lived in Delta until her family moved to Grinnell when she was four years old. Connie and her brother Michael were raised in Grinnell, and she graduated with the Grinnell High School class of 1973.

On November 9, 1974, she was united in marriage to Steven Burnham, of Grinnell Iowa. They welcomed two children, Jennifer and Joshua. They were parted by death in 1987.

On July 2, 1988, Connie was united in marriage to Duane Morrison at Grinnell Friends Church. They were blessed with one son, William.

She enjoyed living on the farm, gardening, sewing, reading and photography, writing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as someone who loved and served her community, church, family, and Lord.

Connie is survived by her husband, Duane Morrison of Malcom; her children, Jennifer (Jonathan) Kramka of Des Moines, IA, Joshua (Angela) Burnham of Grinnell, and William (Caraleena) Morrison of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Philip, Titus and Eloise; and her brother, Michael (Dorine) Selle of Holland, MI.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Steven Burnham; her parents; and her sister Catherine Jane Selle.
