Beverly was born on February 7, 1930, in Grinnell, Iowa to William and Marjory LaGrange Lacy. She was raised in Grinnell and attended Grinnell schools. Following her education she worked at the Grinnell Shoe Factory. On August 8, 1948, she was married to John R. Sadler in Franklin, Kentucky. The couple made their home in Grinnell and she was a homemaker. Beverly enjoyed making afghans and quilts, fishing, gardening and traveling. She is survived by her husband, John Sadler and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ted Lacy
