Beverly Jean Maschmann, 82, of Marengo, died on Monday, October 22, 2018 Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo.
Beverly was born on April 2, 1936, in Victor, Iowa, the daughter of Emiel and Marie Blomme. Beverly attended St. John's Catholic School in Victor. On September 7, 1963, Beverly was united in marriage to Russell Maschmann at St. James Lutheran Church in Victor.
Beverly lived in Victor most of her life and worked for Amana Refrigeration Company for 22 years in Accounting and as a cost clerk. She retired in 1995 and moved to Marengo in March of 2003. Beverly was a member of the American Legion Auxillary.
Beverly is survived by her brother, Vernon (Mary Ellen) Blomme of Belle Plaine and several sister in-laws; Elsie Blomme of Belle Plaine, Mary Lou Blomme of Belle Plaine and Carol Blomme of Charles City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Maschmann; several brothers, Richard Blomme, Virgil Blomme, Russell Blomme and Howard Blomme; her parents, Emiel Blomme and Marie (Steyaert) Blomme; a niece, Diane Kriegel; three great nieces, Jayme Blomme, Lisa Kimm and Michelle Kimm; a great nephew, Colton Blomme; sister in-law, Connie Blomme.
A private family graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at the Victor Memorial Cemetery, in Victor.
The family requests no flowers.
