Beverly was born the daughter of Roy and Maude Henderson Garrett on February 5, 1930, in Kirksville, Missouri. She was raised near Oskaloosa, Iowa and graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1948.
She was united in marriage to Robert G. Anderson on June 12, 1948. To this union were born four children, Kathleen, Susan, Deborah and David. Robert passed away on November 24, 1969. On December 12, 1972, she was married to Burdette G. Farley at the Montezuma Presbyterian Church. The couple made their home near Malcom where they farmed until 1991.
Beverly was a very loving and compassionate person who deeply loved and cared for her family and friends. Her enjoyments included woodworking, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, quilting, having tea parties with her granddaughters, and emailing her family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her children, Kathleen (Dave) Gorsuch of Montezuma, Susan (Craig) Morrison of Montezuma, Deborah (Larry) Hansch of Davenport, Iowa, and David (Julie) Anderson of Malcom; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and her sister Harriette (Gerry) Ruble of Kansas City, Kansas. Beverly passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at her home in Grinnell. She was 76 years of age and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert G. Anderson on November 24, 1969; and her husband Burdette G. Farley on January 12, 2004.
