Betty Helen (Groves) Cline, age 89, of Brooklyn, Iowa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Mayflower Health Care Center in Grinnell.

A funeral mass will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brooklyn with Fr. Dominic Nguyen officiating. Interment will be held at Brooklyn Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

A scripture service will be held at 4:30 PM, Friday, August 7, 2026, at Smith Funeral Home in Brooklyn. Family will greet friends during the visitation from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A rosary will follow the visitation.
