Anna B. Robison, 95, of Des Moines and formerly of Grinnell died on December 16, 2021, at Genesis Senior Living in Des Moines.
A private burial was held Tuesday morning, December 21st, at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.

Anna was born on April 8, 1926, in Brooklyn, Iowa, the daughter of John Edwin and Della Mae Smith Patten. She was raised in the Grinnell area and was a 1944 graduate of Grinnell High School.
On January 16, 1949, she was united in marriage to Orval James Robison, in Grinnell and to this union they had three children.
The couple lived in Grinnell for a few years, later living in several communities including Newton, Ottumwa, Des Moines, and New London, Iowa. In 1962, they moved to Hazel Green, Wisconsin and then Dubuque and Peosta prior to making their home in 1969 in Cedar Falls. A community where they lived for many years.
Anna was a homemaker and mother and enjoyed working in her home while raising her children. After the death of her husband, in 1989, she continued to live in the Cedar Falls area and for the last 10 years she had been living at Genesis Senior Living in Des Moines.
Anna is survived by one daughter, Janet Mincks of Davenport; two grandchildren, Ron Hesse of Des Moines and Shawn Hesse of Des Moines; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 1989; two children, James T. Robinson in 2019 and Barbara Oswalt in 2021; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Allison, Tim Hesse, Danielle Robison; and 10 siblings.
