Alvin Norton, age 68, of Kellogg, died Tuesday, December 21st at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A graveside service for Alvin Norton will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 23rd at Rock Creek Cemetery in rural Jasper County. Casket bearers will be his family members. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alvin Norton Memorial Fund. Alvin is survived by his sons, Michael of Newton, David and his wife Jeannette of Kellogg, and Craig and his wife Keri of Auburn, Washington; his daughter, Tina and her husband Scott of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his ten grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; his brother Elmer Norton and his wife Mary of Tracey, California; and his half brother, Terry Wierd of Burr Oak, Michigan. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Julia Storms Norton; and his brothers, Jake, Leon, and Larry Norton.
