Albert Munitz, 94, of Grinnell, died at the Mayflower Community Health Care Center in Grinnell on Saturday, July 8, 2023.

A private burial was held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, New York.

Albert Rudoph Munitz "Rudi" was born the son of David and Asya (Seligman) Munitz on April 27, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. He received an MBA degree from St John's University.

Albert was united in marriage to Phyllis Pulaski in 1964. They later moved to Potomac, Maryland, where he worked for Duron Inc. until his retirement. They moved to Savannah, Georgia to play golf, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

Albert is survived by his wife, Phyllis Munitz of Grinnell; daughter, Elissa (Lonnie) Lett of Grinnell; grandchildren, Samuel and Aaron Lett; sister, Zita Prince; and his nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Asya (Seligman) Munitz.
