Timothy Tod McCammant was born on June 24, 1960, in Grinnell, Iowa to Keith Eugene McCammant and Lila Mae (Patten) McCammant. He was raised and educated in Grinnell and Newton, Iowa respectively. Following his education, he worked for several area businesses such as Jeld-Wen Windows, Manatts, Bisom Trucking and most recently, Jeff Hall Trucking. Tim dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a great dad who strived to provide the best for his children. He was someone who would lend a hand to anyone. He held a special passion for the outdoors and was blessed with the tranquility of the lake and the wildlife that surrounded him. His other enjoyments included riding his motorcycle, going out to eat at Red Lobster and Panda Garden, barbequing, swimming, and watching the Iowa State Cyclones and Washington Redskins. He is survived by his children, Yolonda (Doug McCuen) McCammant of Grinnell, Micaela (J.J.) Wiley of Grinnell, Brandon (Jackie Keosoff) McCammant of Indianola, and Chelsey (Johnny) Kilmer of Brooklyn; 8 grandchildren, Payton, Corbin, Brayden, Gavin, Kaida, Emma, Aryan, with 3 more expected in 2014; his mother, Lila McCammant of Grinnell; and his siblings, Geno McCammant of Grinnell, and Renee (Todd) Frisby of Princeville, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father, Keith McCammant in 1998; and his grandson, Gage McCammant in 2008.
