Jeff was born on February 1, 1970, in Storm Lake, the son of Frank and Jeanne Carney Rozmus. He was raised in Alta and was a 1988 graduate of Alta High School, playing many sports and was a decorated athlete. He later attended Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon and received a degree in Powerline Technology.

Jeff was a journeyman lineman. He moved to Brooklyn in 1994 and while there he was employed with REC for 15 years, before joining Mid-American Energy and most recently with Alliant Energy. He loved his job doing linework, and enjoyed the lifelong friendships he made with his coworkers.

On July 26, 2014, he was united in marriage with Lee Beaderstadt, in Las Vegas. The couple continued living in Brooklyn where they raised their family together.

Jeff was an avid Nebraska Husker fan and followed the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed all sports. He knew the value of hard-work and was always willing to lend a hand. He had a good-heart; his love for his family and friends was unconditional and for his kindness and treatment of others he was loved by many. People were just drawn to him. Jeff held a positive outlook on life; he never complained!

He is survived by his wife, Lee of Brooklyn; his children, Kyla Bruggeman and Lincoln and Brody Rozmus of Brooklyn; his parents, Frank and Jeanne Rozmus of Alta; two siblings, Len (Mary Beth) Rozmus of Riverside and Jeannie (Jim) Strock of Alta; his father-in-law, John (Janice) Beaderstadt of Brooklyn; his mother-in-law, Wendy (Tom) Ryan of Brooklyn; and five brother and sister-in-law’s, Jamie (Shawn) Edelen of Grinnell; and Luke (Alyssa) Beaderstadt, Jessie (Cub) Schaffner, Josh Beaderstadt, and Jerod (Meredith) Beaderstadt, all Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
