Norma was born the daughter of Edward and Sarah (Pim) Halls on August 14, 1924, in Reed Point, Montana. |
She was united in marriage to Laurence C. Niday of Corydon, Iowa on April 19, 1944 and the couple enjoyed fifty-three years of marriage together. They lived in the Corydon, Cambria and Humeston areas until they moved to Carlisle in 1961. Norma worked and retired from Wallace Homestead Publishing Company in Des Moines, Iowa. |
Norma is survived by her sons, Edward Niday of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dwight (Betty) Niday of Grinnell, and Mike (Coleen) Niday of Carlisle; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Gloria (Norman) Mason of Park Hills, Missouri, and Betty (Jack) Shriver of Columbus, Ohio. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Audrey Wishmeyer.
