Michael was born on December 15, 1954, in Davenport, Iowa to Lloyd Eastwood and Genevieve Penrod. He was raised in Buffalo and attended school in Davenport. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Colorado. Following his discharge he lived in various states.
On December 24, 1992, he was married to Tricia Gooden in Oneida, Illinois. The couple lived in Illinois and Michigan before moving to Grinnell, Iowa in 1996. He was an area manager for Pizza Hut and Old Country Buffet and most recently with Qdoba Restaurants.
Michael was a member of the Grinnell Christian Church and the Grinnell High School Booster Club. He enjoyed golfing, juggling, barbequing at family events and collecting toy semi trucks. He especially enjoyed attending his children’s school activities and assisted with the After-Prom committee.
Survivors include his wife, Tricia Eastwood of Grinnell; one son, Adam Eastwood of Grinnell; three daughters, Amber Eastwood of Grinnell and Nicole and Naomi Eastwood; his mother Genevieve Jones of Davenport; and six sisters, Teresa Bell of Springfield, Ohio, Debra Niles, Billie Eagan, Wendy Zetepa and LaDonna Arroyo, all of Davenport and Jackie Darlington of Callahan, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Eastwood; and one sister, Candy Jones.
