Brock was born on October 21, 1986, in Des Moines, Iowa to Laura Miller-Julin and Todd Julin. He spent his early years in Arcadia, Iowa and then came into the care of his step mother, Robin Chandler-Carmichael at the age of three. The family moved to Grinnell and he attended the Grinnell Middle School. His high school years were in Elkader and Mascoutah, Illinois. He was a graduate of Mascoutah High School with the Class of 2005. Following his high school education he studied welding at Southwestern Illinois College and automotives at Collinsville Vocational Center. He was currently employed at the Jeld-Wen Corporation in Grinnell.
Brock had a fun loving and compassionate personality. In his free time, Brock was known as “gamer”. He loved working with computers and going on vacations with his families. He loved anime and anything Sci-Fi and fantasy. Brock loved fast cars and expensive toys.
He is survived by his mother, Laura Miller-Julin of Iowa City; his sister, Jesica Miller-Julin of Brooklyn; his step father, Todd Julin of Arcadia; his step mother, Robin (Richard) Carmichael of Brooklyn; his step brothers, Jacob (Melinda) Chandler, Charles Hutt and Robert Julin, all of Brooklyn; his step sister, Hollie Hutt of Cedar Falls; his grandmother, Velma Chandler of West Des Moines; his uncle, John Miller of Tama; and nieces, Madison Burgin, Tabitha and Olivia Chandler; and one nephew, Mason Chandler.
He is also survived by his loving family that adopted him in Illinois: parents, Terry and Catherine McNeal of Mascoutah, Illinois; brother, Alexander McNeal of Mascoutah; sisters, Christina (Duane) Coyle of Manning, South Carolina and Carrie McNeal of Mascoutah; nephews, Sedric, Aryanna, Julian and Raistlin Coyle; as well as his grandparents, George and Eileen McNeal of Rogers, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Irvan Julin and Robert Chandler; grandmother, Karen Miller and Eunice Julin; and cousins, Adam Julin and Stephanie Dins.
